Nebivolol HCI and Telmisartan Tablets belongs to a class of medications called 'Anti hypertensives' primarily used to treat high blood pressure. It is a combination of two drugs namely Nebivolol (Beta-blocker) & telmisartan (Angiotensin receptor blocker). Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart disease, irregular heartbeat, and other complications.
Nebivolol HCI and Telmisartan Tablets is a combination of two medicines: Nebivolol & telmisartan, which help lower raised blood pressure effectively. Nebivolol is a blood pressure-lowering drug that belongs to a class of beta blockers. it works by relaxing blood pressure & slowing heart rate to improve blood circulation and decrease blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin, thereby relaxing blood vessels. This allows the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently. Together, they are used to treat patients with hypertension who cant be treated with a single drug.
Can we stop taking this drug by ourselves?
Strictly not recommended as the drug is recommended for a long term disease called hypertension thus doctors consultation is required.
What to do if i miss a dose?
If a dose is missed take the missed dose as soon as possible and never take double dose at a time to make up for the missed dose.
Can we use this drug in a diabetic patient?
This drug is to be used in a diabetic patient unless your doctor recommends otherwise as the drug can mask the symptoms which depict higher levels of sugar in diabetic patients.
What if I take more than recommended by a doctor, accidentally?
Taking too much medicine may make you feel dizzy or like your heart is beating too fast or too slow. If you think that you’ve taken too much, call your doctor or go to the emergency hospital right away.
Can this composition be harmful if taken for long courses
